How do MyPM Users Authenticate?
All MyPM users are SAP registered ERP users. They need SAP access rights and licenses for all the SAP functions they access through MyPM. The authentication steps can take place using any of the following options and using a Username and Password:
- SAP ERP or S/4HANA
- SAP Enterprise Portal
- SAP Mobile Platform
- SAP Hana Cloud Platform Mobile
- SAP Mobile Secure
- Microsoft ADFS
Once a user has authenticated on the device, they securely store their username and password for subsequent access using a PIN Code or (if available on iOS or Android device) bio-metric fingerprint scanner. If, at a later stage, their password expires then they are able to set a new password from the device.
